Well this is long overdue...
Still alive, still around, still beyond busy dealing with...life.
Can't say much of anything exciting has happened in the past year to report on. Entering my third year of college and still figuring out how to juggle everything while keeping my sanity. I wish I could say I've been busy writing but for the most part college has owned my ass and I've been forced to put any personal projects on the sidelines in favor of ones my teachers demand. I'm still photoshopping and taking some pictures, but not a whole lot of stuff I could post on here. There are a few i took on a camping trip a few months ago that might be worth posting but I probably won't get to those until at least Thanksgiving break.
Kind of just treading water at this point, but if anything dA worthy happens I'll be sure to post it. 
Oh, I should probably mention that my picture "Bridges" got featured in my college's state wide literary journal! So i guess that's something.

Hey y'all how's it going?
Despite what my site activity might suggest, i'm haven't actually fallen off the face of the earth. Well not yet at least. It's been over a year since i wrote a new journal, so i thought it was more than time post a new one.
It's been one hell of a year, let me tell you. Finally walked out on my dad which, as much as it hurt, has made my life so much less stressful. Graduated High School, and i'm currently plowing through my second semester at college pursuing an English degree. Got a job, got a car, still haven't gotten a boyfriend...
I've been slowly expanding my abilities at photoshop, even took a digital art class last semester, which actually turned out to be a dud, but at least i got to spend a lot of time experimenting. If i ever do anything dA worthy, i'll be sure to post it here. Unfortunately, i seem to have fallen out of photography. There just doesn't seem to be much interesting to take pictures of anymore :/
I'm still writing at least, when i can find the time that is. As i said last year, since this is mostly an art based site, i now post all my fanfics on fanfiction.net (link below, check me out) though i'm thinking of maybe moving some over to my tumblr.
Overall, life's going well. My brother's now a hobo (complete with beard and bandana *shudders*) and my little sister is still an annoying twat at times, but what can you do? Though i'm not really posting much i still check in here every couple of days, and i greatly appreciate all the people who are still followng me despite my inactivity.

hey sorry i haven't been on often. to be honest i'm more on tumblr now, but i stop in here every so often to see what's going on. haven't had much art to post anyway, i've gotten back into writing (yay) which i've been posting on fanfiction (www.fanfiction.net/~bookmaniac… if anyone's interested)
on the bright side, some of my photography is being used in my schools year book this year, and people have been saying it's cool, so that's a plus, but mostly the pics i've been taking have been of clubs and activities in the yearbook, so they're not really dA worthy :/ if i take some that are, i'll be sure to post them.
also as a side note, i've completely caught up with doctor who and supernatural and sherlock, so that's awesome and means no more slaving away in front of my netflix for hours on end...yayyyyyy. i guess that's it. just wanted to let anyone still following me to know that i love you and appreciate your dedication and that i hope you don't leave me cause please your favorites and comments help with my esteem which is low on a good day, so i love you, ok, bye ^_^"

ok, sorry that i've been MIA for the past like 4 months. Lifes just been kinda busy, and i haven't really had much to post for you guys anyway. Add to that the fact that my web browser now doesn't like me going on Deviantart, and tries everything in it's power to keep me from being able to do anything on here, and you have a bit of a problem! until that's fixed, i won't be doing much of anything. But schools back in (Senior year, holy crap!!!), and i'm on yearbook committee, which means taking lots and lots of pictures, so i might have something for you guys yet.
If you originally started watching me for my writing, i've moved to fanfiction.net, under the same username that i use here: bookmaniac2013. look me up sometime, people there really seem to like my stuff, though there's not much of it yet.

yep it's finally here. now that i don't have school anymore, i'm basically spending all my time on the computer (until my mom kicks me off that is). mostly just on tumblr and things. still going to be uploading some of my stuff from art class this year, very slowly but surely, i might even go out sometime and take some pictures, but no promises. what i really want to do this summer is start writing some more. i have a dozen different story plots spinning around in my head and if i don't write them soon i'm going to do mad. probably not going to post them on here, partly because that would take a lot of work, and because i actually know some people on here and i don't like people i actually know reading things i write that aren't fanfiction (not that i write a lot of those either but you get my point). might try my hand at making a youtube video this summer too, i'll probably be lucky to finish it XD.
so overall, i'll be on a working, but nothing too serious probably. check back every couple of days anyways though, i might just have a surprise waiting for you
